POSITION: Sales Associate – Design Centre

HOURS of WORK: Full-Time, flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.

Position Summary: The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and represent RONA Brandon in a friendly and courteous manner. Previous experience in interior design particularly in areas of kitchen, bathroom, flooring and other home renovation, are considered an asset to be successful in this position.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting customers and identifying their needs
• Meeting with customers to assist them in the design and coordination of their kitchen/bathroom/flooring/renovation projects
• Ordering products and maintaining stock levels for kitchen/flooring products
• Scheduling countertop cuts in our cut shop
• Confirmation of customer orders, customer follow up and troubleshooting

Requirements:

• Background and interest in arts/interior design
• Experience with kitchen and bath design/flooring/building materials; asset
• Exceptional customer service
• Enjoy working with the public and in retail
• Reliable and professional work ethic
• Attention to detail and ability to problem solve
• Strong communication skills, outgoing
• Basic Mathematical skills
• Computer skills with knowledge of web-based applications
• Available for shifts; weekdays, weekends and holidays
