Brandon’s newest sports complex located on Patricia Avenue and 34th Street in Brandon, MB., Opened December 2021. J&G Homes Arena includes an NHL-size ice surface to go along with 2 mini rinks adjacent to the main ice. These mini rinks are used for private or small group sessions. Both the shooting bays have real ice so players can skate and practice their skills as they would on a regulation-sized ice sheet, but at a fraction of the cost. The WCHA Development Team will be made available for any player looking for individual or small group instruction.
Located outside of the arena there is a sport court area that includes two pickleball courts, volleyball and basketball courts. J&G Homes Area also includes a 6 lane—100 metre track which will help increase a player’s speed, mobility, and explosiveness.
J&G Homes Arena is proud to be home of the Western Canada Hockey Academy (WCHA). Balancing Academics and athletics are the top priority of the Academy that include full classroom and full MNP Performance Centre. Through the teaching of top-notch instructors, and with the use of new technology, the WCHA are focused on improving a player’s ability to skate faster, shoot harder, and push the boundaries of the game.
To top it all off the premise is also equipped with a fully licensed ice level restaurant and bar Kings Kitchen, which has a wide range menu for entertainment and eats.
There is also a Starbucks kiosk located just above it upstairs.
With arena capacity for approximately 800 fans, you’re bound to be among familiar faces when you’re here, cheering on your team.
