Skills Requirement:

Experience in commercial construction
Experience with finishing construction
Working knowledge of tools and materials
Proficiency in using hand power tools
Possess CSA approved safety boots
Ability to commit to work hours as scheduled
Hard working, motivated, and reliable
Ability to take direction and perform repetitive tasks
The position requires full range of body motion including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting and ability to use hands, arms and legs to physically lift and move items including 50-75lbs

Job duties:

Site maintenance i.e. moving material, proper disposal of waste, safe handling of hazardous material and general housekeeping
Assisting carpenters and apprentices with general construction tasks
Effectively communicate and take direction from the site superintendent to support carpenters on tasks as required
Follow and maintain safety standards and report any incidents
