Position: Carpenter

Company: Jacobson Commercial Ltd.

Start: Immediately

Wage: TBD based on experience

Hours of Work: Full-time

Skills & Education:

• Class 5 Drivers Licence
• Red seal carpenter or active in apprenticeship program (minimum 3 years experience)
• Possess PPE- CSA approved safety boots
• Willing and able to work long hours during the busy season and during extreme temperatures
• Capable of lifting and moving materials up to and including 50-75lbs
• Hard working, motivated, and reliable

Job Duties:

• Read blueprints and drawings to determine specifications
• General commercial construction including framing, boarding, finishing, doors & hardware and ACT ceilings
• Safely operate equipment including scissor lifts and boom lifts.
• Transport supplies as required to and from job sites
• Maintain a safe and organized site
• Follow safety standards and report any incidents
• Other duties as required by Project Manager
