Position: Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Allen & Bolack Excavating

Start: As soon as possible

Wage: TBD – Based on Experience

Hours of Work: 50 hours/week

Position Description:

This position requires a skilled Loader &/or Backhoe Operator with experience is sewer & water renewal work.

 Skills & Abilities:

• Proven ability to operate heavy equipment including loader, grader, backhoe
• Experience in sewer and water excavation
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
• Ability to work under pressure
• Positive Attitude
• Reliable and Responsible
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing needs
• Ability to lift up-to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities – Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, willing and able to work long hours and occasional weekends during peak season

Experience & Education:

• Minimum of five (5) years experience operating equipment
• Experience operating in residential spaces
• Class 1 Driver License will be given preference
• Clean Driving Abstract
• Other duties as assigned
