The Western Canada Hockey Academy (WCHA) is looking for a lively, energetic, and passionate half-time teacher to join our growing Wolfpack for the 2026–2027 school year.

We are a unique sport-academics program that blends high-level hockey development with strong academics, leadership, and community values. Our ideal candidate loves middle years learners, thrives in a collaborative environment, and brings positive energy into the classroom every day.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has middle years teaching experience in all subject areas (Grades 4–8 preferred)
• Is familiar with the Manitoba Teaching Curriculum.
• Carries a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate.
• Is enthusiastic, flexible, and student-centered.
• Builds strong relationships with students and families.
• Is excited to work as part of a tight-knit, supportive team
• Embraces innovative, hands-on learning in a non-traditional school setting

Position details:

• Half-time teaching position with potential to build into a full-time teaching position for the 2027-2028 school year.
• Middle years focus (specific teaching assignment shared upon inquiry)
