Responsibilities:

General Kitchen Duties:

  • Create a memorable experience for guests by providing a quality dining experience i.e. follow specified recipes in food preparation, ensure efficiency in process and quality of brand.
  • Awareness of menu items, wine list, specials, and current promotions.
  • Ability to provide suggestions for food/drink choices to guests.

Operations:

  • Maintain a clean and and organized kitchen.
  • Conduct kitchen inventory checks/complete logs and inform management of any requirements.
  • Communicate any concerns in operations to on-duty supervisor/management.
  • Commitment to continuous training/development.
  • Health & Safety:

    • Handling/storing food and supplies with care and in compliance with health standards.
    • Follow guidelines provided i.e. security procedures, start/end of day checklists etc.
