Customer Service Representative

Hours of Work:

Part-Time/Full-Time, flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate is someone who will represent RONA Brandon in a friendly and courteous manner and display exceptional customer service skills.  Experience in customer service is a must.  Experience in flooring, kitchen and bath design would be an asset.

Primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting customers/identifying customers needs, providing exceptional customer service
  • Meeting monthly sales targets
  • Flooring/countertop and related product sales
  • Ordering products, maintaining stock levels for kitchen/flooring products
  • Scheduling countertop cuts in our cut shop
  • Confirmation of customer orders, customer follow up

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills/knowledge:

  • Leadership, professionalism, organizational skills
  • Experience with kitchen and bath design/flooring/building materials
  • Background in arts/be artistic
  • Basic Inventory Management
  • Experience in retail/customer service

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, outgoing
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Attention to detail
  • Reliable
  • Basic Mathematical skills
  • Basic computer skills with knowledge of web-based applications
  • Must speak and read English
  • Available for shifts; weekdays, weekends and holidays
